Yakitsuke

Yakitsuke is heat-curing urushi instead of curing it only in a warm, humid furo. It is used mainly on heat-resistant substrates such as metal and ceramics, where lacquer can be baked at elevated temperature to create a hard, durable coating. Temperature control is critical: too little heat gives poor curing, while too much can damage the film or substrate.
