Raden Newton Pens Prospector (2H25)

This pen is special. I did not make it – it’s Newton Pens Prospector model. Some time ago Shawn Newton was having a fundraiser – a special offer of preselling pens to raise funds for his new CNC machine. I always liked his Prospector model so I pulled the trigger on ebonite one, with an obvious purpose – a little urushi makeover. Despite I almost stopped buying pens (since I make them) this one was different – I wanted to support a penmaker I like and admire. I was blessed with a lot of support and kindness from pen-making community since my very beginning in this craft. So it was one of my giving back opportunities. Pen waited for some time in the drawer but knowing I was coming to SF penshow and I knew I would meet Shawn there – I finished it. And I showed it to Shawn there. He seemed to like it 😉 I hope you do too.

It comes with custom Jowo ebonite feed and housing which allows you to position the nib to your liking.

It comes with  Japanese silk kimono, Schmidt K5 converter.
