Hakeme

Hakeme is a brush-mark or combed-texture lacquer effect where visible strokes, ridges, or linear texture become part of the surface design. The effect is made by controlling lacquer viscosity and tool movement, often with thickened urushi mixtures that hold the brush pattern during curing.
