Kara-buro

Kara-buro is a drier curing environment or drying phase used after the initial humid cure. It helps the surface stabilize and lose excess moisture without shocking the lacquer film. Moving too quickly from humid cure to dry conditions can cause problems, so kara-buro is part of controlled curing rather than simply leaving the piece in open air.
