Ishime-nuri

Ishime-nuri is a group of stone-texture lacquer techniques. Texture is built by sprinkling or embedding particles such as kanshitsu-fun, powders, or granules into wet lacquer, then sealing, leveling, or polishing according to the desired stone-like surface.
