Uwazuri

Uwazuri is a final polishing and gloss-building process in which very thin transparent urushi is rubbed into a leveled surface and wiped almost completely away before curing. Repeated cycles fill microscopic scratches and deepen clarity, followed by polishing with fine powders and fingertips to develop a refined roiro-style gloss.
